Nine Police Control Room (PCR) vans allegedly trailed the automobile but were unable to stop it, according to sources.
New Year's party on her scooter with a friend
Around two in the morning, Anjali Singh was riding her scooter home with a buddy after attending a New Year's party. Her leg became stuck in a wheel, and the car, which was trying to separate the body, dragged her 13 miles.
The friend of Anjali who was riding the scooter with her, Nidhi, told the police that the car driver "deliberately" ran over her as she was screaming in pain but departed the scene without alerting anyone.
Were five PCR vans
According to sources, there were five PCR vans on the route, about six calls were placed to the police emergency line, and witness Deepak Dahiya made more than 20 calls to the police after spotting the car with a body stuck under it.

Police vans on the road
According to sources, nine police vans were on the scene but were unable to locate the body or the vehicle due to "poor visibility" brought on by the fog.
The five passengers in the automobile were informed that a woman had been struck and was stuck in the engine, according to sources. The reports claimed that they continued to move forward and backward with the intention of crushing her or shaking her off.
The accused males saw the woman's arm under the wheels after travelling about 2.5 km, but they continued driving.
They had discovered that something was trapped underneath. They noticed her hand jutting out when they peered out the window. However, they noticed a police cruiser and sped up, dragging the woman behind the vehicle, according to sources.
The car made "more than four u-turns" in an effort to try and move the body, according to reports.
Her clothes had been torn off, and the skin had been scraped off of Anjali Singh's body.
She suffered at least 40 exterior injuries, some of which were so serious that they exposed her ribs from her back, broke the base of her skull, and left some "brain tissue missing," according to an autopsy report.
