According to data updated at 8 am on Sunday, India saw an increase in new Covid-19 infections of 10,112 and 29 fatalities.
The total number of Covid-19 cases for India is 4.48 crore (4,48,91,989), even though the number of active cases rose to 67,806.

As of right now, 0.15 percent of all infections are active instances. The website of the health ministry reports that the national Covid-19 recovery rate was 98.66%.
4,42,92,854 persons have recovered from the illness, and the case fatality rate has been reported at 1.18 percent.
