Manobala tweeted the data sans block seats after sharing the multiplexes' figures: "Jawan day 1 advance sales. ZOOMS have sold 5,000,001 tickets in India... Advance reservations for Jawan at national multiplexes... 1,12,299 PVR, 75,661 INOX, and 40,577 Cinepolis. 2,28,538 tickets were sold in all. Gross: 9.01 crore rupees.
He added, "City-wide, all theatres - Delhi NCR - 39,535 (1.91 crore), Mumbai - 39,600 (1.57 crore), Bengaluru - 39,325 (1.42 crore), Hyderabad - 58,898 (1.35 crore), and Kolkata - 40,035 (1.16 crore)" to further break down the figures by different cities. All venues in India sold 5,17,700 tickets, generating a revenue of ₹14.47 cr (excluding blocked seats).
Jawan advance booking reach around ₹40 crore
Taran Adarsh, a trade expert, also tweeted about Jawan's early morning performances in many locations and advance bookings. While Jawan is experiencing SOLID gains at national chains, the advance booking situation at independent theatres and single screens is also AMAZING, he claimed.
Single screens across Delhi, the Hindi heartland, the United Provinces, Rajasthan, and Bihar are displaying EXCEPTIONAL results. Due to the high demand, several exhibitors are starting their displays at 6 am, even in tier-2 cities.
