Viral video of the burning engine from the Nepalese airline disaster is actually rather old.


In a widely shared video, an aircraft's right engine was seen on fire, with the fire being attributed to the Sunday plane crash in Pokhara, Nepal. According to Blogging Freek, the video is dated and originates from Russia.

Recently, a video that depicts a plane's right engine on fire and suggesting engine issues while the aircraft was in descent has gone viral on social media. The motions of the jet in the new video coincided with those seen in previous Sunday-morning videos of the accident in Nepal.
