G20 meet has adopted the "New Delhi declaration,
New Delhi: The "New Delhi declaration," which includes more results and a record number of papers than any prior meetings, was endorsed at the G20 summit. This is viewed as a major victory for the nation. Due to the conflict in Ukraine and disagreements over how to address climate change, it has become increasingly challenging for international organisations to come to agreements.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said
Prime Minister Narendra Modi remarked, "There is
good news...," after announcing the consensus. The
New Delhi G20 Leaders' Summit Declaration has been agreed upon thanks to the efforts of our team and the support of everyone concerned.
"All G20 leaders should accept this, is my plea. I really hope so. I would also like to use this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to all the ministers and sherpas who put in a lot of effort to make this happen," he continued.
Foreign ministers who have been gathered for the
G20 since yesterday have concurred on the need to address a number of issues, including those related to climate change.

Said Union minister Hardeep Puri
According to Union minister Hardeep Puri, India's G20 presidency was the most ambitious in the organization's history. More than twice as many results as past meetings are included in the declaration's 73 outcomes and 39 annexe papers.
"On all fronts -- health, climate, and climate financing -- you can use a straightforward statistic to compare what this G20 has generated before and after... This is a time for joy and celebration as the world has entered a new post-Covid era.
