Doordarshan will broadcast live coverage of Lord Ram's consecration ritual, known as the "pran-pratishtha," on January 22. The Ram Temple Trust has requested that attendees take part in the event remotely.
The events will be broadcast in temples and other public locations throughout the countryside and metropolitan areas. On January 22, at Ayodhya, priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit of Varanasi is scheduled to perform the principal ceremonies during the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla.
The full religious ritual will be televised live from the freshly built Ram temple in Ayodhya between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Where to watch live telecast
Plans have been made for a live transmission of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya Dham's "Pran Pratishtha" ritual. The entire event will be broadcast live on Doordarshan's DD News and DD National stations. Other news organisations will also receive feeds from Doordarshan. Doordarshan will provide a YouTube connection for other stations.
DD has installed 40 cameras
According to a top official, Doordarshan plans to put up to 40 cameras at various sites in Ayodhya, including the recently constructed Ram temple complex, to provide live coverage of the consecration event. The ceremony will be televised in state-of-the-art 4K technology.
The national broadcaster will stream live images from other sites, including the Jatayu monument at Kuber Tila and Ram ki Paidi near Saryu Ghat, on various channels in addition to the main temple premises.
Like the G20...when we had done 4K transmission
"Just as during the G20, when we transmitted in 4K, Doordarshan will do so again this time around using broadcast technology. The whole coverage will be live on many stations and in various languages. Apurva Chandra, the secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, recently informed PTI that private broadcasters will also receive the feed via Doordarshan.
Live telecast at temples across India
The event would be televised live in many Indian consulates and embassies throughout the globe. Additionally, plans are on to transmit the event live throughout thousands of Indian temples and booths. The national broadcast of the live consecration ceremony of Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya at the booth level has been announced by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

On January 22, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries will attend the Ram temple at Ayodhya's "Pran Pratishtha." Around 8,000 people have received invitations to the event, according the temple trust.
When will the temple open to the general public
The temple complex will be opened to people from January 23 onwards.
