Ramdev also urged attendees to remain joyful and upbeat in order to live a long life, much like Amruta.
RAMDEV RECEIVES FLAK FOR COMMENT
Rupali Chakankar, the chairwoman of the Maharashtra State Women Commission, filed a notice to Ramdev on Saturday, requesting him to clarify his position within three days after taking serious note of his divisive statement.
Additionally, opposition parties in Maharashtra and other regions of the nation denounced the yoga guru's remarks.
Sanjay Raut, the leader of the Shiv Sena, criticised Ramdev for the statement and questioned why Amruta did not object when it was made.
